Hello Calvert researchers I have been given information that my line connects to Benedict Swingate Calvert but I cannot substantiate the information. Benedict Swingate Calvert m. Elizabeth Calvert George Calvert b. 16661 Sussex, England m. Rosalie Eugenia Stier John Calvert m. Margaret Robinson in 1717 Resin Calvert b. 1772 m. Harriet Bryon Thomas C. Calvert b. 1755 m. Anne ? Thomas Clair Calvert b. 1784 m. Elizabeth Monroe ( I have Elizabeth Johnson) Albert Gallatin Calvert b. 1830 Monongalia Co.,VA (now WV) m. Mary (Polly)Cain Albert G. is my great-great-grandfather and there are two Thomas' in my line but, I do now know if the above Thomas' are the right ones. There are some errors in the information I have received and I have been unable to reach the man who did the research that was sent in a letter to a second cousin in 1992. I do know that Thomas C. Calvert (#2) moved from near Boonsboro, MD to WV (VA) some time before 1830 as his son Albert was born in WV(VA).
