She was dau of John Thorowgood and Elizabeth Mason. Mary Calvert, dau of Cornelius and Elizabeth, =m= William Walke (plantation owner and man of means) on 12-21-1782. Mary died c1798. Home was the 'Ferry" Plantation near Norfork and in Princess Ann County, where Virginia Beach is now located.
