Thanks to everyone who answered my e-mail of Mon. about VA/WV Calverts. Special thanks to George Calvert who looked in O'Gormans for me. Unfortunately, we are not there. Hopefully, another door will open. He suggested Quaker Calverts. Anyone out there looking into Quaker Calverts? To repeat: 1. Thomas Calvert--soldier of 1812 and held commission under Harrison and was at Fort Meigs and the battle of Tippecanoe. 2. Thomas C. Calvert (son of Thomas above) m. Elizabeth Johnson--They lived near Boonsboro, MD, along with the Lemasters family with whom I also have a connection. Both families moved to northwest VA/WV. VA Land Office and Patents and Grants lists a Thomas C. Calvert, 30 Nov. 1838, Tyler County--425a. on left fork of Lynn Camp Run--Grants 89, p. 598. Am completely stumped on Thomas Calvert #1. Don't know where he came from, who he married, how many childre n , or where he died. Have a safe holiday weekend! Barbara Skinner Joseph Thanks Jim and Barbara Joseph [email protected]
