    1. [CALVERT] Re: PA Ezekiel Jacob Thomas Cooksey William Enoch
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Calvert Lemaster harrison cain pruitt dulaney ewing clare Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/WQH.2ACEB/970.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi I am afraid I just began follwoing this line--looking for jacob in your enoch's time frame. supposedly jacob may have been the father of Thomas Calvert. There are multiple jacobs which get confused as well...the line from the quaker calerts and those from MD. I am trying myself to sort this out. Isaac Jacob Job thomas and so on. jacob(my line-collateral) was in WVA Census living with his son Fletcher while the other Jacob was in OH. both may have originated from Greene Co. PA. I do not believe that I am of the line of Jacob who ended up in OH. However, there are associated families, both of the calverts and those who married into the calvert family. The surnames are: Ewing Clare Pruitt Lemasters Dulaney Cain for example. Also, I know that christina Criss married into the calvert line. her husband went to OH and back to WVA I belive. at any rate, i can share my .ged or any information that i have gleaned. I am looking at enoch related to jacob. another researcher with whom i have been working noted: There appears to be more then one Jacob Calvert I found Jacob H Calvert up in Morgan Co.,Ohio in 1850 age abt 43...there is a Jacob Calvert that dies in Monroe Co.,Ohio in 1850 age 25 of Tyhpoid fever.. I went back up to greene Co.,Pa. Ewing Calvert is in three census' 1840,1850,1860 Whitely twp.,Greene Co.,Pa., in 1840 this is the same as Thomas Calvert in 1810 the twp Ewing Calvert 1860 Perry twp Greene Co.,Pa. I don't know why I didn't copy down 1850 probably I was going to look at it and didn't make a notation for the census. But note: The jacob I am addressing is from the 1850 census in wva, age 70, living with his son Fleltcher. Enoch is supposedly the related name of the ancestor but keep in mind that the Jacob's listed above have been interassociated as the same person which is not true. Ditto Issac and perhaps enoch, hence my post. david
