COUPLE WILL CELEBRATE GOLDEN WEDDING SUNDAY (with PICTURE) SELMA -- Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. CALVERT of Madison township, will observe their Golden wedding anniversary at their farm home north of Selma with a reception Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. for their friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. CALVERT were married on June 14, 1888. Mrs. CALVERT is a daughter of Simeon and Elizabeth WARNER, early residents of Madison County. Mr. CALVERT attained success in general farming and in raising registered Jersey cattle. In 1906 he was appointed secretary of the Ohio Department of Agriculture, a position he held until 1909. He served as Dairy and Food Commissioner of Ohio between the years of 1914-1917. Mr. and Mrs. CALVERT have three children and four grandchildren. The children are L. S. CALVERT of Springfield, Donald CALVERT of Toledo, and Miss Helen CALVERT at home. This announcement was on a page that included an obituary I needed.
