Greetings, I am posting the results (or lack thereof) of following up on Steve Gillispie's post of 22 March, last. To recap, he postulated that the Bible we are all looking for may have past into the possession of the Roy Culver family. I have found and spoken to several Culver family members. The widows of Roy's sons Marion and Orval and the granddaughter who has Roy's papers and is the defacto Culver family historian. None of these people have heard of a Calvert family Bible or a bible that belonged to Lee Finch. If there was such a Bible, it is clear that it did not become a significant item in the possession of Roy Culver.
