I have wondered if Sarah Calvert (1781-1870) who married Lewis Wood is being studied for inclusion as a child of John Calvert and Winifred Smith? In the 1890 Biographical Album of Greene and Clark Counties, Ohio, page 618, it is stated that Sarah was their daughter. It does not cite a source, but it appears to be a knowledgeable one and I suspect that the information came from Sarah's daughter who appears to have still been living at the time the biography was written. Hello CALVERT cousins: I have: Margaret CALVERT (1822-1899) of Canonbie, Dumfries, Scotland who married John ONEILL (1818-1896) in 1841 in New Abbey, Kirkcudbrightshire. They had several children surnamed O'NEILL that I have some information about. Margaret had siblings James (b. 1821), Mary (ca.1826), Herbert (1826), Thomas (ca. 1827), Barbara (1830), Edward (1832), William (1835), Grace (1836), Robert (born and died 1839) and an unnamed child born and died in 1840. Some of these children were born in New Abbey, Kkd and some in England (Cumberland, I think). I believe (but have not yet verified) Margaret's parents were Thomas CALVERT (1797 - 1849) and Grizel "Grace" HOPE (1798 - 1874) who married in 1819 in Canonbie. Thomas died in Townhead, Dumfries in November, 1849. Would love to hear of any connections, Hilary near Toronto, Ontario, Canada
