To add to what Norma Harkness has said, the families seem to have interacted in Belmont County. John Calvert, Jacob's son, named one of his boys James William Calvert as well. It caused more than a little confusion to early researchers. One was born in 1835 and the other in 1836. John, son of Jacob, and his family moved on to Morgan County, OH and then to Iowa. (This is where we encounter one of the Issac Calverts whose daughter married George Dye.) Does this make them relatives? Darn if I know. David you may be able to enlighten us with your research. Jim
