I was never able to find James and his wife and children in Belmont County from 1828 to 1845 during the time their children were born, but at the time I was looking, I didn't know they had also had a daughter. So, now I am wondering if they were all living with another family and if so, since it was before 1850, they won't be individually listed on the census so that is what I am going to start searching for now.
