After Sarahs father, John passed away, all of his chldren except Adam Loy sold the land to George. Jacob J.and Mary. The lived in Franklin Township in 1860. He bought the land from Adam Loy and sold it to George. John P Jr. and Edith. Were in Miegs County when John Sr died. After Jr died the whole family moved to Misouri. Willian and Rachel. They stayed in PA. exact place unkn own. The Mormon IGI file seemed to list them being married in Ohio Co W.VA. Jane and Benjamin Taylor The have a researcher. The children were all born in PA. Ann & William Shepard. When Jacob got all the land for Jacobsburg, a Shepard got a full section near by. They have a researcher also.. Esther S. and James McMannus. Bob McMannus is their researcher. They did live for a while in Centerville. Margaret and Adam Loy. They lived for a while in Jacobsburg. A Loy is listed in the Sst Clairsville libarary. I know very little about this family George and Sarah Elliott. This is my family. I have located the death place of all 7 children. Most went to Iowa then some on to Kansas and Portland Oregon. These names were all listed as selling their interest in the land that George finally sold to Gladden. All except Adam Loy who sold it to Jacob J. who then sold it to George.
