I would like to ask if you can define your Calvert ancestry. I have Calverts who end up in IN / OH / IL coming out of WV VA PA. My line is defined as known to Isaac in this manner: there are possible ancestors of Isaac but it would be speculation: I have an Isaac m Elizabeth Gart in CHester, PA. I have an Isaac b to Alexander Calvert and Mary Whealer in Somerset Co MD. My family heritage said the family came out of MD. The brother of Thomas who m Elizabeth Johnson was interviewed by a Newspaper in 1881 and he said his ancestors came from Bucks, Lancaster England. Unfortunately, this was all that he told the author of the article. This John was B1804 brother to Thomas below: Isaac b1745 - 49 M Frances Bullitt or Bullock. Thomas b 1769 M Anna Ewing and 2 J. Margaret LNU Thomas b 1803 M Elizabeth Johnson Albert Gallatin b1830 m Mary Cain John Ewing b 1856 m Martha Lemasters Arthur Clay b 1876 m Lena Ensinger and 2 Amanda Rose Dorthey Lee Calvert b 1922 m Edwin Bell Me..... Thanks for any help. There are variouos descendents of these Calverts who end up in the midwest. David Bell "Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much." I believe Elizabeth was a sister to Thomas. I am pretty new to the genealogy game, and not well organized yet, but I do have some information on the Medd's. I have seen the Yerkes name in some of it. I would be more than happy to share any information I have if you are interested. I am leaving Sunday for a week's vacation, but will be back online anytime after that.
