    1. Re: [CALVERT] James Calvert
    2. Jim, I have been reading your E-mails and I was glad to find out someone knows something about the Calvert's in Andrew County, Missouri. My Great-Greatgrandpa was named James Calvert and he was born in Ohio (so I was told). Do you know if he may have been William's brother? He had 7 children by Lydia Rardin, then when she died he remarried Angeline Alumbaugh. Can you tell me more about Charles Maple? Thank you. Linda

    2. James Calvert
    3. Linda, William Shepherd Calvert did not have a brother by the name of James. He did have one son by that name. A couple of his brothers and a couple of cousins had sons by the name of James. I do not know where all of these children migrated and which stayed in Ohio and West Virginia. I have sent your message on to Charles Maple. He was recently in a serious accident. It may take time for him to respond. It would help him if you gave the dates of your great-grandfather's birth and death. Please keep in contact with me, but remind me of the reason we first corresponded. My memory is a little hazy at times.
