DAISY M. WELCH Mrs. Daisy M. Welch, 87, 552 E. Franklin St., died Monday (3/30/1982) at 5:35 p.m. in Pickaway Manor. Born Sept. 24, 1894 in Hocking County, she was the daughter of Frank and Matilda Haynes Calvert. She was a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and was an American Red Cross Volunteer. She is survived by a son, Rev. Raymond Welch of Circleville; three grandchildren, Brian and Damon of Circleville and Mrs. Sarah Darby of Columbus; four great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Mrs. Lillian Welch Stevens of Columbus. Also survived by one brother, Carl Calvert of Pleasantville; two sisters, Blanche Stout of Columbus and Bertha Wolfe of Circleville. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Defenbaugh Wise Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Yocom officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 this evening and 2-4 and 7-9 Wednesday. Memorial donations may be made to the American Red Cross or Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
