    1. Re: [CALVERT] Calverts in Ohio
    2. Hi, I have a Hiram CALVERT who was in Strabane Northern Ireland in 1858 (Griffiths Valuation). He was my Great Great Grandfather. My Great Aunt Vera (Hiram's Grandaughter) emigrated from Ireland to USA about 1908. When I met her she was about 93 and she lived in Los Angeles. I asked her about her family history (unfortunately she would not allow me to tape record her). She told me that when she first came to USA, she had been passed around various relatives in USA and Canada. She said that she was with relatives in Ohio, and in Indianna. I also know that there were other relatives (named BURKE) in PA. Great Aunt Vera told me that Hiram CALVERT had been buried in PA. I also think I remember her talking about a Reason CALVERT (it struck me as an unusual name). I know that this is NOT the Hiram CALVERT that you refer to because this one was buried in Nebraska, but I feel sure that there is a connection somewhere. To date I have been unable to find my Hiram that was buried in PA. Do you know of this line? Have you been to the Genforum for CALVERT? There have been a number of contributors who are relatives of yours <A HREF="http://genforum.genealogy.com/calvert/">Calvert Family Genealogy Forum</ A> regards, Jim WILLIAMS
