Tim, I have no idea where the middle name of Hannah came from, always assumed that she may have been named Hannah Mercer Calvert after a close friend or possibly a relative but never persued it. As far as I know the name MERCER does not reappear in her descendants--at least not in my branch, however the name CALVERT does.
