In her Fauqueir Co, VA will dated 7 Dec 1824, Sarah lists her children as "I give and bequeath to son Charles STEWART, Ann STEWART and LIDIA ODEN...the residue of my estate" and "my other child Nancy ROOKWOOD". She also names Charles STEWART as her executor, but after she dies the court appoints Hiram ROOKWOOD, Thomas and Sarah's grandson as executor. When Sarah's husband Thomas ROOKWOOD wrote his Fauquier Co, VA will dated Aug 1798, he does not mention Charles or Ann STEWART at all, although he does mention Lidia/Lydia and Nancy. I do not believe that Charles and Ann were from another marriage, there is no sign of another marriage. Sarah signed her will Sarah ROOKWOOD. Have any CALVERT researchers have found a marriage for Sarah and a STEWART. Can anyone help?
