In 1924-30, approximately, he was in Darlington , Durham with his wife, Minnifred Hindmarsh, as their 3 children, including my mother were born. His eldest son was James. I have an 1881 census record that shows a George Calvert with a son James in Darlington.I am trying to find out if this was a possible grandfather of my grandfather, Frank Calvert, probably born around 1900. Does anyone have any info that might help me over in Canada. My grandfather, Frank Calvert, died around 1942, while serving in the British navy. He went overboard at sea in action, caught pneumonia, and then died. My mother, an English war bride was married to my father just after the war in 1946.
