I have JONATHAN FOSTER (b. ? Essex Co. NY or Tunbridge Co., VT) married Miriam MORGAN and became the parents of 8 children-Betsy, John, Mary, Nancy, Moses, Edward Morgan, Isaac Newton, Alrick Mann. Moses was born 8 Dec 1803 in Vergennes, Addison Co., VT, Alrick born 17 feb 1824 in Elizabethtown, Essex Co., NY (just west of Addison Co, VT), and Isaac 6 Apr 1822 in Essex Co., NY Betsy, John, Mary, and Moses remained in the New York area. John married Esther BAKER and had a daughter Mary L. No other information has emerged for these children. Further, Nancy, Edward, Isaac and Alrick moved from NY to Ohio (circa 1830-1837) then to Schuyler Co., IL in 1837. Isaac and Alrick remained there for the remainder of their lives. Nancy married George CALVERT in 1843 and had at least one son George D. Calvert born in 1845. Edward married Sarah CROMWELL in 1839. They appear in the 1840 census for the county. Young George Calvert is living with Alrick Foster in 1860, but no further information has been found concerning his parents or Edward Foster and his family. John and Esther BAKER FOSTER died and their daughter Mary L. moved to Illinois and lived with Alrick. She married Etan Akin and died in childbirth 28 August 1880. Jonathan may have been the son of another Jonathan whose father may be Hezekiah Foster......No documentation, just names Cindy
