I need your address. My e-mail is agodwin@comcast.com. "The Rowan County Marriages - 1753-1868", lists Benjamin Merrill married Elizabeth Garrett on 3 March 1795. The census of 1800 shows two males under ten and head of household, Benjamin. Only one female 26-45 who would be Elizabeth. The oldest female shows up in the 1810 census in the 10-15 age group. I can send you the census also. Let me know.
