There is a notation on the Lycoming Genweb site concerning a Thomas Calvert, a recent arrival in the United States in the 1790s from Nottingham. He was a successful cabinet maker and apparently had a number of descendants from the information on the site. Hope this helps someone. Jim
Hello. Did it say where in the US he emigrated to? What is the web address? Thanks! LeeAnn PS. Still looking for the mystery father of Donald Calvert (my grandfather) (he was born in 1938) and his name was Leonard Calvert. On the birth certificate of Donald, it says Leonard was born in Chicago, Illinois. No age is given for Leonard and that's the only record of him we have. Leonard must've skidaddled as he was never a part of my grandfather's life. If anyone knows of a Leonard Calvert born in or near Chicago, Illinois before 1920 and would be willing to share the information, please let me know. Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: James Calvert [mailto:j.calvert@comcast.net] There is a notation on the Lycoming Genweb site concerning a Thomas Calvert, a recent arrival in the United States in the 1790s from Nottingham. I am very interested. Could you possibly send the email address of the person who sent it to Lycoming Genweb site?
