Rusha b29 june 1886 daughter of John Ewing Calvert and Martha Lemasters. She had a marriage or liaison with a man named CW Feiss and a son named Chester who visited my grandparents in Oklahoma driving his motorcycle from OH this would be about 1926 or laterw(there were more children). My mother recalls the visit which was to my grandfathers home in Big Heart or Wild Horse Ok. I believe the former. Rusha died 27 Oct 1950 in OH. buried at the Mckinley Cemetery in Niles OH. Sometime after Feiss, she m Clyde Blaine Nutter. They had numerous children: Burl Blaine, Jessie Avalene, Gladys Kathryn, Jelen(helen or Jelene?), Paul, Freda. I do not know what happened in this marriage. Clyde abandoned Rusha in OK and went to CA. I believe one the sisters or brothers or one of the Lemasters came to OK and took her back to Wetzel Co. WV. This may be where the 3rd marriage comes in to a John Swegan and how Rusha got to OH. I know my Grandfather, Arthur Clay, wrote a letter to his youngest brother Elza Ewing who lived in Wetzel, saying he did not know of the problem with Rusha. This letter was written in I think, 1926. These are the Children of John Ewing Calvert and Martha Lemasters: Arthur Clay b1876. Charles Ross b 1878 Clarence Webster b1880 Shannon Wiley b 1884 Rusha Valry or Valery or Virginia b 1886. Mother thinks it is Valry. Lista Zella b 1888 Pearl C b 1890 Isaac C b 1893 Elza Ewing b1895. I have a photo of Rusha(who was a very attractive woman) with her son, Chester Feiss. I am not sure if the other Feiss children were hers or she was their stepmother. It seems to me that I heard that Clyde Nutter married a woman named Green next but I may be mixing up two different generations of Calverts here so don't take that as gospel. I will look up what I have if you need on this. I am not positive. I did have an email quite some time ago from someone who was in the Nutter Descendency. Home this helps.
