This Calvert family came from Ireland to The District of Mississippi-Port of New Orleans on November 28th 1826 on the ship 'Edward Dennis.' The family consisted of: Wm. Calvert-41 Ester Calvert-30 Rob Calvert-20 James Calvert-17 Wm. Calvert-14 Hugh-12 Adam-4 Geo-1 Sarah-7-Laborers from Ireland>Alabama, America. After the marriage of William Calvert (Jr.) to Jane Tisdale, it seems this family moved to Kemper County, Mississippi, after that to Union County, Arkansas>Union Parish, LA>Jefferson County, AR. by 1860. There are a couple of William Calvert's listed in Kemper County, MS, and the way some of the query's I have read, seem to suggest that the William Calvert is not the same William Calvert I'm researching.
