Thanks so much for the DC transcription Deborah! But I'm a little confused about some things so I have questions to present to you and also the list where anyone might be able to help. Would you please re-check the year of death and age? Both the CADI and SSDI state he died in 1902 rather than 1901...are deaths recorded reasonably soon after death in these records or as much as a year later even where a mistake could have been made in the year and what are the chances both would be wrong? CADI says 8/8/1902 at 65 yrs old (he actually would have been 66 by a month) and SSDI says 8/5/1902. I'm guessing there might be a "date of recording" on death certificates which might clear this up? Also, you have an "A" at the end of the SS#. Is this a typo or does this signify something I am unaware of? If so, do you know what? Can you or anyone on the list tell me about the informant "Public Admin"? What is this exactly? I've done a search for Live Oak Cemetery. Didn't find that, but did find reference to Live Oak Memorial Park in Monrovia (he lived in Monrovia, so this may be it). Has anyone had experience with obtaining info from this cemetery? Also found references in a search for Temple & La Gorge Mortuary (Funeral Director) from other DC's posted online, etc., where they seem to deal with Live Oak Memorial Park , but can't seem to find them around today. Does anyone know if they still exist and where, like an address or phone number? Any experiences with obtaining info? Now we get to the most curious.....Richard (MALE) Krause's spouse was "Frank Unknown"? What's up with that I wonder? I would greatly appreciate any and all help or suggestions to my many questions.
