Shelly, I have information from San Francisco that may help you with your search. I was sent information from an old file of my grandfather and his brother that had been enrolled in a Catholic Orphanage in Watsonville for a brief time in the early 1890's. When I called, I was told to send a written request. My reply came back in about three weeks. This was in Dec 2001. I would think they can direct you to the appropriate contact if your information is kept in a different location.
