Hello fellow researchers; I sent copies of birth, marriage, and death records to the Los Angeles Superior Court Hall of Records on 1-May-2002 along with a check for $35 to cover postage and copies requesting information concerning my Grandfather. I have the court order date and number and the name of the judge; however, my request was returned as I don't have a Case number. I was given a phone number to call and have tried 3 times since Friday to get the case number. I've talked to 3 different people from archives and they've asked the date which I've given-1957- and I've been asked to hold. This is without my grandfathers name of any other information. I've been put on hold for over 15 minutes all 3 times I've called and I live out of state! I wonder if anyone living near enough to the area code 213 would consider making this call for me I will provide the information if you'll contact me privately.
