    3. Dear Loretta, Funny you should write to the list as I was looking for your email address in my saved emails to THANK YOU for helping me so much with making all of those calls concerning my grandfather, Tony LEWIS. I just this afternoon got the transcriptions from the Superior Court and have gone thru them once and letting that sink in a little before I read it again and then start writing to various lists with what it contains. Without your help I would never have known my own grandfather as I do now after reading some of his own words. One comment he made that you might enjoy.. He was asked during his trial if he had ever tried to commit suicide; "At this point the defendant laughed and said, "No, not me. This is too beautiful a country to do a thing like that. California is a great place, I think a lot of it." I can never repay you Loretta for the kindness you showed in taking the time from your schedule to call over and over sometimes and to more than one office in helping me track down the transcriptions. With all of my heart, Thanks.
