Hi, it appears that my great grandparents may have divorced sometime between the time they moved to Los Angeles from Wyoming in 1920, and my great grandmother's death in 1938. I have no idea when the divorce, if there really was one, was finalized. Does a divorce index exist? I will be going to the West Coast for a visit in a month, so can anyone suggest the best way to pay a visit to the LA County Records Center/Archive there and successfully track down divorce information without knowing the date beforehand?
