Does anyone happen to know if there were adoption records kept in Los Angeles in the late 1890s? If so, do you know where I could check them? I'm still trying to find my grandmother, who just doesn't seem to want to be found! I could just kick myself for not asking more questions when they were all alive! Thanks so much! Diane
