I am trying to find proof of the arrival of a great uncle in the Los Angeles county area. He was Milton Philips Krewson Strayer. His father's Bible states that he died on October 21, 1917, at San Gabriel, CA. He was reported in a newspaper article of 1913 to work for a telephone company in CA. I believe he moved to CA around 1910. Can anyone check old city/county directories for his name and address from 1909 through1918. He did have a brother Charles Strayer and a sister Sarah J. Potts in LA County as well. This would be a great help as I have drawn a blank with obituary and death certificate information. Thanks- Glenda S. Strayer
