    3. List: If there was such a thing as VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR, I'd sure vote for Deborah. I've never seen anyone work so hard so long for so little as she does I mailed my request for a death certificate to the State of CA, along with the appropriate money order, on 12-26-00. In March of 2001, I rec'd a post card from the State of CA saying my request was being processed. On July 20, 2001, after having heard nothing more, I wrote to the State of CA to see if it had been mailed or was lost in the mail. After 18 months of waiting, I sent an email to Governor Davis and reported this to him and asked for his help. A week or so after my email of complaint, I received my certified copy. The CA Bureau of Vital Records doesn't give a damn about your record, but they cashed my money order immediately. Deborah does a wonderful job and I am really proud of her and the work she does. Well done Deborah and keep up the good work. Paul R. DAFFT, someone who cares; (pdafft@juno.com) 1605 Cottonwood Road Carrollton, TX, 75006-3856

    3. I can understand Paul's frustration. I live in Sacramento and it took me over 3 months and a trip to the office to get my copy. That is why I now donate to Deborah and ask her to find my records as she has found everyone I have looked for thus far. Thank you, Deborah--a check is in the mail. Elaine Sharp
