Hello family researchers, I forward the correspondence below with the permission of Bruce in hopes of connecting with other family members of this RIDDLE family. thanks, Marie Cook -----Original Message----- From: Bruce A. Casner [mailto:casner@focol.org] Sent: Monday, July 01, 2002 9:37 AM To: The Cook's Subject: Re: Riddle & Baird I see that you looked at my web pages on worldconnect.rootsweb.com. I have a Samuel, son of Mathew Riddle and Eliza Ann Baird, but no further information on that particular line. If he was born in 1845, that would put him between Sarah Jane Riddle, the eldest b. 1844 and Mary I. Riddle b. 1849 in PA, Center Co. David Franklin Riddle, my wife's great grandfather, is the youngest of the siblings, born 5 Jun 1858, in IL, Freeport. I'm not sure when Mathew and Eliza moved from PA to IL, as I don't have birthplaces on all of the children. So my wife's great great grandfather is your father's step-grandfather's grandfather? I think I have that right. <grin> Mathew Riddle #383 David Franklin Riddle #422 Samuel Riddle #420 Winifred Carrie Riddle #90 William Baird Riddle #1330 Chester Jack Duckert #16 Harry Pickett Riddle #1337 "According to Bruce the above chart shows that Harry Pickett Riddle is the second cousin, once removed of his wife." *my note* I will put what you have given me into my database (with credit, of course) and see how it fills in the blanks.
