    3. I have looked up many DCT's in the Registrar Recorders office in LA County many times, and there is no way possible that the DCT's there will ever be online. It is physically impossible.   Great thoughts Mr. Cohen!   Joe --- On Sun, 5/6/12, the cohens <the.cohens.in.california@gmail.com> wrote: From: the cohens <the.cohens.in.california@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [CALOSANG] Looking for 2 Fox relative's burial places. And I can sympathize with a limited budget and not wanting to spend money on genealogy. It depends on how badly you want the information, and how long you are willing to wait to get it.   Maybe their burials will be listed online at some point in the future.  Their remains had to go somewhere, whether or not they were cremated. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to CALOSANG-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    3. Thanks Joe, What I meant by his being able to eventually find their burials is - if and when someone lists all the burials in the cemetery they are in - assuming they are in a public cemetery or cemeteries, and they may or may not be. Or, if and when the records for the mortuary that handled their final disposition get indexed or go online, that does sometimes happen. That sort of thing could eventually appear either if the LDS or a local genealogy group takes on such a project. But I would not hold my breath waiting. I do hope Don can find their grandchildren, and that their grandchildren will know. The other thing might be to contact that Church that was mentioned in the wife's obituary, if it is still around, and see if the people there have any best guesses about what the likely cemetery would be. Then Don could write or call the most likely cemeteries to see if his relatives are buried there.
