Thanks for the information. Wrong baby. Alan Rossing In a message dated 5/1/2012 11:42:09 A.M. Since I am no longer a member of Vitalsearch I could not get any other info This is the only baby girl listed with no first name & last name same as mother's maiden name. In my searches I have found this is a possiblity of being a child placed for adopt. At Ancestry (I am not a member so could only get partial info I found the following on the marriages in San Bernardino Calif 1960 to 1985 Anita F Allison to Randel M redfield; Kelly R Allison to Keneth M Astley; Susan L Allison to Stanley D Brings; Delores A Allison m Daniel Rodreguez. I am not sure if she can get a copy of her original BC all states are different but you should be able to search the birth index. If you do go to the Hall of Records in SB don't mention adoption - Just tell them you are doing family history research. There were 16 girls born January 16, 1960 in San Bernadino County. California Birth index is still free courtesy of SanFranciuscoGenealogy.com at: http://cabi.mirrorz.com/ Entries all show surname and mother's maiden name. If you find her listed there under her adopted name, then the court order was implemented in the California Birth Index. But I do know that at least some entries for adopted babies remain untouched in the California Birth Index, with original names at birth left intact. I have seen some of those for adopted children in my family tree. This gives you more raw data to work with.
Sorry typo, 16 girls born January 7, 1960 in San Bernadino County. http://cabi.mirrorz.com/
