I sent a reply privately with Jack's obit which named his 3 living children as well as grandkids. I tracked down and sent addresses/links to Donna. I do not post living folks' addresses and personal info on archived lists. On 3/2/2013 3:25 PM, DONNA NUNNALLY wrote: > Hello, Have you sent for John or Jeanne's obituaries? In your case: go to Google, type in U.S. City Directories 1821-1989. I first used John Drummond Chicago, Ill. with spouse Jeanne. It came up as Jean Drummond with a J Drummond in New York as a student in 1949. I was puzzled because when the page came up it was listed as if the last name was JDrummond. Also in 1955 a John W. Drummond with spouse Jean C. was living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Then for fun I like to go to InstantGoogleStreetView.com Type in their address and see what comes up. In this case faintly on bottom of the page I see 2007. My house shows up with 2009. Using the city directory helped me narrow down when a great grandpa died as in the directory in 1916 listed her as a widow of Thomas. Also look around in one case I found a grandfather with the same address as a son's family but listed several spaces down because directories are listed in alphabet order. > Good Luck in your search, Donna in Indiana > > --- On Fri, 3/1/13, Elizabeth Kraus > <greliz7@bigpond.com> wrote: > > From: Elizabeth Kraus <greliz7@bigpond.com> > Subject: [CALOSANG] Fw: Drummond/Donovan family > To: CALOSANG@rootsweb.com > Date: Friday, March 1, 2013, 10:44 PM > > Hello everyone > I’m searching for a Drummond family who left Chicago in > the 1960s and > resettled in Los Angeles.
