I did look at CA resources before I posted but couldn't find the death certificate. However, as usual, another query arises. From the copy of the 1930 census the head of household was Stanley CLARKE, with an 'E'. His mother-in-law was CLARK, without an 'E'. Stanley and wife, Jean, appear to have landed in the USA in 1919 and 1920 respectively. Using the English FreeBMD resource (http://www.freebmd.org.uk/) they were not married over here. Please could someone look for a marriage. Just re-read your very helpful census headings and they appeared to marry in 1922.
