I've "rescued" an old photograph of W. H. CADMAN which was taken at the Horton Bros. Studio in Providence, Rhode Island. In addition to the name, someone has written "Class of 1894 E.G.A." on the back of the photograph. I believe that this reference is to the East Greenwich Academy where I was able to locate alumni records indicating that William H. CADMAN attended and was part of that graduating class. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding William and his family: William Henry CADMAN was b. 2 Jan 1873 in South Manchester, CT to parents Thomas Samuel CADMAN (b 28 Jan 1844 in London, Eng-1904) and Esther H. WILSON (b 3 Jun 1841in Camden NJ-1918). William was one of four children born to this couple including, Mary Ramsder; William Henry; Charles Samuel; and George Brown CADMAN, all born between 1870 and 1877. William married Alice Blanche FULLER (b. 22 Feb 1874 in Bosrahville, CT) on 24 Jun 1896 in East Greenwich, RI. The couple had one child. William's occupation was noted as Letter Carrier in military draft records in 1917 noting that he had previously been a Silk Printer and Manufacturer. He was living in New London, CT at that time. William died in 1962 and is buried in the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Hollywood, CA. Census records provide the following information: 1880 census of Manchester, CT: Thomas CADMAN, age 56, Works in Mill, born England, parents born England Esther CADMAN, wife, age 39, Keeping House, born NJ, parents born NJ/PA Mary R.
