I've "rescued" an old photograph of John Farrar MORGAN which was taken at the S. G. Rogers Studio in Washington, PA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with John noted as 1 year old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research and thanks to a MORGAN Family Researcher, I was able to gather the following information regarding John and his family: John Farrar MORGAN was b. 29 Apr 1882 in Cannonsburg, PA to parents Mary Louise FARRAR (b. 8 Feb 1841 in White Farm, Cherry Valley, PA-d. 21 Aug 1899 in Carnegie, PA) and Billingsley MORGAN (b. 11 Mar 1840 in Bridgeville, PA - d. 11 Aug 1916 in Carnegie, PA). John was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Elizabeth "Bessie" Hindman; Jennie Farrar; George Billingsley; James Edward; and John Farrar; and Jane MORGAN, all born between 1875 and 1883 in Washington and Allegheny Co. PA. John married Edna Irene CORLL (b. 11 Sept 1885 in Youngstown, OH-d. 1967) on 3 Sept 1907 in Carnegie, PA and together they had a son, John Farrar MORGAN Jr. born in 1918 and died 24 May 2007 in West Linn, OR. John Farrar MORGAN Sr. died 8 Apr 1954 in San Bernardino, CA. John Jr's wife Gladys MORGAN died 12 Oct 2007 with her obituary stating that she and her husband John Farrar Jr. meet during high school in Alhambra CA, married in 1941, and lived in Santa Monica, CA. They moved to Whittier CA in 1952 and then to West Linn, OR in 1984. Their children were Jan MORGAN DAOUST of West Linn, OR and John Timothy MORGAN of Phoenix, AZ. I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
