Pam, Have you ordered death certificates from CA? The one I ordered was quite helpful although I am still looking for that elusive obit. Los Angeles seems to be quite difficult in that respect. Usually one writes to a local genealogy society for help in getting obits...but that doesn't seem to be the case in Los Angeles?
