Pam, The Los Angeles Times only has obits for famous people. So you would need to know where in Los Angeles County that person lived so you could check in one of the city newspapers (of which there are many). I would get someone on the list to transcribe the death record for you. (I just paid someone to do that). Then you would know where the person lived so you could contact the local newspaper. Los Angeles seems to be quite difficult in that respect. Usually one writes to a local genealogy society for help in getting obits...but that doesn't seem to be the case in Los Angeles? Not that easy. > I tried looking in City Directories as well-couldn't find them..but I believe both of them may have been living with other relatives. > > Thank you for any help! > > Pam > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to CALOSANG-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
