Hi All, I am new to this list but am subscribed to the RootsList for India and have found it really helpful in my family history research. I have just discovered some of my family (British family born in India) in Los Angeles County and as this is the first of my family I have found in the USA - I really have no idea about the best options to find out more information in this area. I am therefore hoping that there will be knowledgeable listers who will be able to give me some advice? I have found 3 family members (G Uncles) showing on the Census & Voter Lists for Los Angeles County from 1920's through to 1960's. Eric Douglas Vernon ELLISON b. 1896 (India) Hope Frederic Vernon ELLISON b. 1886 (India) Gerald Wilfred Vernon ELLISON b. 1888 (India) I would be really grateful for any thoughts on how I can go about finding more information on the descendants of my G Uncles and any details of where and when they died. Also any information available on passenger lists that would show when/how my relatives arrived in USA (presumably via the UK? although I cannot find them on the Passenger Lists available on findmypast.com which covers UK> worldwide during this period?!)
