Hi, listers. I need help. I did look up in Los Angeles Archives for 1981. It is seeming not helpful for search hints. I do appreciate your help if please, would anyone of you be willing to help me for search at library? Florine Joyce Darnell died on September 26, 1981 during scene of accident on Aviation Blvd., South of 104th St. I am assuming that it is located in Inglewood area or Redondo Beach area, but the address is showing Los Angeles City, Los Angeles County. I am doubt that is Los Angeles City. It is more likely an Inglewood area because it is part of area regarding where she worked and used to live. It shows that she worked for Sperry Flight Corp for airplane parts. There is no El Segundo obits and article for her except Colorado obituary which I have at present time. I believe that she is either in Los Angeles Times or Daily Breeze newspaper. Coroner ended on December 15, 1981. Thank you for your help. Adrienne Stefanik Vancouver, Washington

This area is right next to LAX in the City of L.A.  Google maps shows it well.  A regular traffic accident in 1981 would almost certainly not warrant an obituary or article in the L.A. My experience with the Coroner's office in Los Angeles has been really wonderful. Call them. If they can help you they will tell you what to do and if you can get a copy of that report it will be all you wanted I'm sure. Good luck!
