    3. Some of the Los Angeles directories are online at the LA Public Library: http://rescarta.lapl.org:8080/ResCarta-Web/jsp/RcWebBrowse.jsp I found this for 1936, 'next' door to 2025. With the earlier directories it can be difficult as many addresses were apartment complexs but not so noted in the directory.
