    3. ProQuest has both Los Angeles and New York City "historical". There is a CA library which offers a free library card to anyone with a valid CA address. The card allows remote access to that site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Justina Cook" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2008 2:36 PM Subject: Re: [CALOSANG] Birth Index look up request on Ancestry The L. A. Times Archives is at http://pqasb.pqarchiver.com/latimes/advancedsearch.html, and they charge a fee to access the full articles. I think it's available through ProQuest as well, but I'm not sure what libraries and such have access to that. Joseph probably knows more about it than I do, but I just wanted to let you know that it is not at ancestry. All of this is just as far as I know, so feel free to correct me anybody. Take care! 3. I was trying to say it without actually saying it since I do not know what the impact might be. The eligibility is to anyone with a valid CA address. Additionally Huntington Beach offers its card to nonresidents (of that area) for $25/year. ----- Original Message ----- From: Colleen To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] ; [email protected] Sent: Friday, August 29, 2008 9:35 PM Subject: Re: [CALOSANG] Historical LA Times I belive it is Palos Verdes Library www.pvld.org I did the online library card registration and they mailed me a card but I believe you have to live in CA Colleen ----- Original Message ----- From: Michael McTeer To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2008 3:27 PM Subject: Re: [CALOSANG] Birth Index look up request on Ancestry ProQuest has both Los Angeles and New York City "historical".
