Hi... Is there anyone that knows the address,etc. of the LA County Health Dept? I have a great uncle that died out there in the county or the Hollywood area. I would like to be able to get a copy of his obit/burial etc. if possible. His death date was around 4 August 1965 LA. The name is Rutherford Otis or Otis Rutherford Jackson. I found only funeral announcements for 6 Aug - 8 Aug 1965 in the Los Angeles TIMES for R. Otis JACKSON giving on the funeral service, Armstrong Family. If you are trying to order a death certificate for someone who died in L.A. County, you order from the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, not from the health department. (The county health department has death certificates only for persons who died within the last 90 days.)
