I located Max Schwed and "Lovisa " in the 1910 census, Los Angeles Co. CA. In the 1920 census (LA, CA) Max Schwed and son-in-law, Adolph Frankel, (Emma's husband) are widowers living together with Max's two grandsons. In 1930, Max is living with his grandsons, Philip and David. California Voters Reg. has Max registered in 1916, 1922, 1924, and 1934. You are correct that Louisa died 10-13-13 at age 73. David died 10-6-08 at age 27. Emma (Frankel) died 10-12-16 at age 33. Max died 5-2-36 at age 83. I hope this helps you some. Louisa probably died 10/13/1913. David may have died in 1910. In 1898 the Schweds lived at 2713 East 1st Street and Max had two brothers living in New Jersey.
