    3. It's time for another update from the Southern California Genealogical Society. Can you believe that Daylight Savings Time starts next weekend, March 9? I know this has been a hard winter for many of our members and friends in the snow belt, so we'll hope that this month brings an early Spring. Are you keeping up with the Jamboree blog? Be looking for some BIG announcements this week. Recent posts have included speaker bios and presentation summaries; a snapshot of "what's new and improved" for this year's Jamboree; more of the "Top 10 Reasons why Jamboree is Better than a Genealogy Cruise"; a behind-the-scenes peek at planning Jamboree; and the first stop on the LA Junk Food Tour - Pinks, the hot dog stand with valet parking. If you haven't check out the blog, in a few days, take some time and catch up on the recent posts. Find the blog at www.genealogyjamboree.blogspot.com. You'll also find a link from the Jamboree section of the SCGS website at www.scgsgenealogy.com.
