For the Lunch & Learn presentation on Saturday, February 14, the presentation will focus on blogs, feed readers, wikis, social networking - what's this stuff all about? How will they help you in your genealogy endeavors? Jay Holladay will introduce these topics and show examples illustrating how they can assist your research and facilitate the exchange of information with other family members. This presentation will be aimed at those who would like to learn about the new Internet tools; but members who are already users of blogs, wikis, etc. are also encouraged to attend and share their experiences and favorite sites. Jay Holladay leads the Computer Operations and Maintenance Team at the SCGS Library and is a member of the Board of Directors. He has been doing genealogical research since 1993 and is in the process of setting up a blog to share results of his Holladay family research. Lunch on your own from 12-1pm, presentation 1:00-2:30. The library will not be open to research during the Lunch & Learn.
