    3. Write to the SCGS: http://www.scgsgenealogy.com/ They sell what they have on CDs, but they will do look-ups for a fee. There is NO comprehensive list anywhere.     3. Aaron, All of us who are subject matter experts have said the exact same thing about how records are maintained in Los Angeles County.
