    3. Hi. Obits from Los Angeles County are somewhat hard to get; in that LA Co is so large, and not everyone had an obit, usually only the rich, famous, and such. If you can find out what town/city he last lived in you might be able to search the local paper, or church notices. If you can get a Death certificate, it should tell the Mortuary, and Cemetery, and you could try contacting them to see if there was an obit or death notice, they may be able to tell you where to look for it. 3. Roger, thank you for this information. I have printed off the application, but do not understand if I need to have it notarized if I am requesting the "Informational" copy only . Also, I do not see the charge for the copy. Will you look at the site and see if you can clarify it for me, since you have done this before? 3. The Turners and Brown's were all born in KY mid 1800s. Someone else has found the Brown's in Watts for me in 1920. The Turner's may have moved to Orange Co. near Brea Canyon by then. Thanks for your help, Jodi Donn and Mary Dancer <[email protected]> wrote: I suspect you have more information than you have given here. Do you have dates or places of birth?
