I'm sorry to be unclear. Horsley was Dora's middle name and she was an unusual woman so after her husband (Lem(m)ing died, I don't know whether she would have used her maiden name. Also, she spells Leming both ways and, in fact, I think she dropped the m when she came to California from Idaho about 1930. I know she never married again after Wagner, but she lived until the early 70s. So I don't thinks she is this Dora. Even more confusing, I believe she started going by Elizabeth Wagner at some point. This is why I have had such a hard time. She was a young widow as of 1925 and I believe it affected many decisions she made after that.
